This Rolex Datejust if perhaps the coolest one to buy! A rare bird, the 1601/8, dating back to production in 1961. The watch features an 18 karat yellow gold case, which is in good condition showing nice and even brushing on the lugs and clean sides. The bezel is also made of 18 karat yellow gold and is in good condition, holding the plexiglass in place. Underneath the glass lies the centerpiece, the silver dial with rare alpha / leaf hands. It feautures original tritium on both the dial and hands. Furthermore the watch has the original date-wheel with open 6 and 9. The watch is fitted with a nice brown Leather strap. The engine of this watch is the caliber 1560 automatic movement, which was fully checked by us and is running perfectly.

Please keep in mind that vintage watches need to be treated with reasonable care by their owners.
Excluded from the warranty are: water damage, turn and push buttons, crystal, watch strap and clasp. Improper use or damage caused by the owner or third parties are not covered by our warranty.
All warranty claims must be directly reported to Timeless Vintage Watches. The warranty will be void if a third party worked on or opened the watch.
The warranty is non transferable and only valid to the original purchaser. With every claim the invoice or invoice number must be presented. Repairs without a valid invoice are also possible but will be made at your costs.
