This extremely rare vintage white gold Rolex Datejust with reference 1601/9 from 1972 is not your average Datejust. The 36mm oyster case of the watch is not only in stunning condition, it is also made entirely from white gold. Something you hardly ever find. And if that's not enough it also comes with a stunning blue Shantung - also named Mosaic or Brick- dial. The tritium on the dial and hands has aged to a beautiful custard color giving that true vintage vibe. Both the reference number and serial number are clearly readable between the lugs. Furthermore the lugs show even brushing and the sides show no signs of wear. On the back of the watch we find the nice and crisp hallmarks present. The sharp fluted white gold bezel is in perfect shape. Fitted to the watch-case is one of our customs straps with original Rolex stainless steel buckle.
