This Rolex Datejust if perhaps the coolest one to buy! A rare bird, the "wideboy" 1601/8, dating back to production in 1971. The watch features a 18 karat yellow gold case, which is in good condition showing nice and even brushing on the lugs and clean sides. The bezel is also made of 18 karat yellow gold and is in good condition, holding the plexiglass in place. Underneath the glass lies the centerpiece, the gold dial with wideboy markers and hands, without lume. Fitted to the watch we find a 18 karat yellow gold jubilee bracelet, that shows some stretch due to its age. Nonetheless there is a lot of life left in it! The engine of this watch is the caliber 1570 automatic movement, which was checked by us and is running perfectly.
