Warranty
This steel and gold Rolex Datejust with reference 16013 is a rare and charming appearance. The blue dial is in perfect condition with all the tritium dots present and intact. When the light hits the blue on the dial, it bends and plays with the color. The dial developed some light patina around the date window. The automatic Rolex movement had a full service from our watchmaker and comes with 2 year warranty. The thick 36mm case is in great unpolished condition, with only some minor marks from use, a real thing of beauty and hard to find an honest watch like this these days. The spring bar holes are clean and crisp and not elongated. Attached to the case is the original steel/gold jubilee bracelet, with matching clasp code and endlinks, it shows only a little stretch. The fluted 18k yellow gold bezel is also in really great condition.

A BIT OF HISTORY
Rolex created the flagship datejust in 1945, in celebration of the brands 40th Anniversary. It was the first self-winding wristwatch with a date window on the dial. Together with the Datejust, Rolex also created the iconic 5-piece Jubilee bracelet. On the 10th anniversary of the Datejust the magnifying lens - so called cyclop lens - was introduced. Since the introduction the Datejust has become one of the most popular watches from Rolex. The Datejust has all the characteristics a Rolex is known for. The iconic two-piece screw-down Oyster case was the first waterproof case for a wristwatch that was serially produced in 1926.
