Rolex Day-Date 'Full Set' ref. 18238

This iconic yellow gold Rolex reference 18238 “President” Day Date is overall in excellent condition and comes as a “Full set”.

The yellow gold dial has the classic and beautiful warm hue. All tritium on the dial and hands is well preserved and still intact. The 18k yellow gold Oyster-case and “President-bracelet” with adjustable clasp are extremely sharp. The adjustable folding clasp was available at the time only by special request and is very practical in everyday use. The day disk at 12 o clock is executed in the Spanish language.

The Bezel is ‘Razor sharp’ and is permanently playing with the light, take a look at the macro pictures. The watch is slightly touched up by our watchmaker, of course preserving the original shape. In our pictures you can see his dedication and craftsmanship. All hallmarks, the reference number and the case number are clear and crisp, indicating the production year of +/- 1989 (L563XXX).

Inside the Oyster case, it houses Rolex’s caliber 3155, which had a full service in June 2022. The mechanism, beating at a rate of 28,800 A/h is Rolex’s seventh generation Day-Date movement, featuring a highly-practical, double-quick-set date function.

This stunner comes as “full set” with the Rolex “punched paper” dated a sales date of May 29th 1990, the original Rolex Day Date box with clasp, the Rolex calendar card, the Rolex translation booklet, the Rolex dark red card holder, the big green Rolex document holder and of course our Timeless Vintage Watches 12 months warranty card.
