The Rolex Day-Date was produced in 1978. The case of this yellow gold Rolex Day-Date with reference 18038 is in excellent condition. With nice thick lugs and nice and even brushing. The hallmarks on the lugs are crisp and strongly-defined and the reference and serial number are clearly readable. The dial is in very good condition, with a nice gold finish and applied gold baton index markers. Both the day and date windows on the dial compliment the patina found on the index markers and hands, the day is indicated in English. The automatic movement with single quick set function was fully serviced by our watchmaker. Fitted to the case is a new strap by Molequin with a generic buckle. If wanted we have other strap options available.

The case has been polished lightly and is in great condition. All edges are very sharp and the brushing is nice and even.
Is The Watch Keeping Good Time?
The movement is running accurate and was recently serviced by our watchmaker.

The warranty includes the functioning of the watch including the functioning of any present complications. Each watch is in properly working condition and is carefully checked and/or serviced by our professional team before shipment. Please keep in mind that vintage watches need to be treated with reasonable care by their owners.
Excluded from the warranty are: water damage, turn and push buttons, crystal, watch strap and clasp. Improper use or damage caused by the owner or third parties are not covered by our warranty.
All warranty claims must be directly reported to Timeless Vintage Watches. The warranty will be void if a third party worked on or opened the watch.
The warranty is non transferable and only valid to the original purchaser. With every claim the invoice or invoice number must be presented. Repairs without a valid invoice are also possible but will be made at your costs.
