This 4 digit Rolex Explorer with reference 1016 is one of the last watches produced with this reference. The watch case is stamped with a L serial, dating it back to 1989 - or the last production year of the reference 1016. Watches from this last production batch are highly sought after by collectors. The watch we have on offer here is in overall good condition. The 36mm stainless steel osyter case is in good condition, with some marks from use. The oyster bracelet is the original model for this watch and is in great condition, the bracelet is newer than the watch case. The real centerpiece of this watch is the dial, it's in very good condition with nice eggshell colored lume matching perfectly with the lume on the hands. The automatic cal. 1570 movement was recently serviced and runs great.
