The Submariner with reference 5513 is the longest produced Rolex reference ever made, and we can definitely understand why as it's one of our absolute favorite vintage watches. This reference has all the iconic characteristics the Submariner is known for.
This example dates back to 1973 and is fitted with a stunning rare matte serif dial. It has nicely aged tritium and the text printed in white. The white gold hands are filled with matching tritium. The dial is in great condition. On top of the dial we find the beautiful domed plexiglass.
The 40mm oyster case is in good condition, with sharp bevels and thick lugs with some marks from use that are expected with a watch this age. We believe it to be in unpolished condition. The original folded oyster bracelet is in great condition as well, with matching clasp and endlinks. The movement is running accurate and was fully seryvced by our watchmaker. The bezel insert is also original.
